Profession: Automotive Engineer

Why did I become a Governor: I have lived in Tiptree all my life. My mum was a teacher at St.Luke's and I went to St.Luke's myself. Now I have a daughter and this school was my first choice. I felt it was time to give something back and try and use my knowledge to help improve the school that provided so well for me.

What I love most about being a Governor: Working with like-minded individuals as a team to make things better. Everyone on the governors is a volunteer, so we are all here for the same reasons. I like the idea of being a part of my daughter’s academic future, whatever form it may take.

Hobbies: I enjoy the outdoors, and loved walking with my daughter and our family dog Willow in and around the area. I also play Badminton at a local club. The rest of my time is spent with the family.
