Profession: Retired now. I was a teaching assistant with children with special needs.

Why did I become a Governor: I became a governor because it was felt that the job I used to do would be beneficial and also because I have been a volunteer in the school for 5 years.

What I love most about being a Governor: I enjoy being a governor because it keeps me up to date with the ever changing ways of education and I like being involved  in village life.

Hobbies:  I have been a scout leader for over 50 years! I am a member of St. Luke's chime ringing team and we play in school just before Christmas. I have 3 wonderful grandchildren and I always make their novelty birthday cakes. I keep out of mischief by making jams and chutneys and knitting and crocheting and making cross stitch cards.
